buy, stream or both?

I use a music streaming app for 95% of my listening. I never thought that I would reach for my phone to satisfy my habit of exploring new music, with physical purchases becoming few and far between. I understand why there are mixed opinions in the music industry regarding streaming and I find it very interesting to observe the various marketing approaches.  Below are two statements that I have made up....  Spoil yourself with a subscription Listen to any song on demand The first is how I feel about streaming; absolutely spoiled by the ability to explore music. It's like a record shop in my pocket. I don't like the use of "spoil" though as the word gives me the impression that the purchase is extravagant. I could change it to "treat yourself" but that would make me feel like I didn't need it, at best I may decide to treat myself (at a later date). Careful opinion

I recently spent some time writing research based reports and found it to be a refreshing experience. I have plenty of experience with reports within a corporate finance environment but this was completely different. Financial reports and data to put it simply are devoid of any emotion. This observation has inspired me to look beyond the numbers for the human element. Surely every report has the objective of helping a person, even a financial report could in theory paint a very miserable picture. And misery is an emotion right? The beauty of a report written in prose and based on your own research is the real feeling of empowerment you can get. Your opinions are not only welcome they are strictly required; you carried out the research so that makes sense. Of course it would be easy to misinterpret this responsibility and overdo the sharing of personal opinions. So many things are subjective; but if the author explains their thought process well, the reader can form their own...
